I am happy to announce that after thirteen years together, my mum and her partner are finally getting married! Having somebody so close to me getting married has put me in a very wedding-ish mood, so when I stumbled across these amazing images on 100 Layer Cake, I couldn't resist sharing them.

Elephant pancakes

There's only one thing I like more than pancakes - that is pancakes shaped like animals! I'm crazy for these cute elephant shaped pancakes right now. I have no idea how the heck they are made, but I am definitely going to try my luck at making them sometime soon! So cute!

Photo Shoot pt.1

These bad boys are the first few photos from the shoot the I styled a few weeks ago with the very talented Ann Li, and the beautiful Rosie Stantiall.

I'm so excited about how well they have come out! It all turned out so well considering we shot these on probably the windiest day in the history of the world! More pictures to come soon!

Rubi Shoes

I think it's safe to say that Rubi Shoes is the definition of cheap and cheerful! All three pairs for under $100? What the heck! Too good to be true, I swear. Rubi Shoes have definitely upped their game this season. Rubi is definitely going to be my favourite new destination for cheapie shoes this summer - starting with the pair in the first image!

I stumbled across these cushions on one of my favourite blogs Eat Drink Chic. If you know anything about me, you will know that I am a self confessed crazy cat lady, so these cute cushions seriously have me in fits of excitement. So cute! Meow.

Coats

Soo I know it's spring and all, but to be honest it's still FREEZING in Wellington so a good coat would actually come in handy right now! I'm absolutely in love with all of these bright and beautiful babies. I have to resist buying one though unfortunately because if I did, I would want to wear it all summer and probably die of heat stroke after refusing to take it off. I never thought I'd say this but, hurry up winter!

Dior Velvet eyes

It's no secret that cats eye inspired liner is in this season as it's been seen popping up on runways all around the world recently. It's also no secret that as amazing as liquid eyeliner looks, it's a PAIN to put on. Seriously, the amount of time that I've ended up with black smudges all over my face is appalling!

So when I discovered Dior's Velvet Eyes I became very, very excited. These things look flippin' amazing! Basically it's a pack of beautiful imitation liquid eye liner cats eyes that you glue onto your eye lids with the same sort of glue that you'd use to put on fake lashes. Imagine how much time these babies would save you! I suppose the time you'd save would be sort of evened out by the money you'd spend buying these gems... but still! Love them!

Sophie Aniek

Just finished picking up all of these amazing Sophie Aniek pieces and more! Unfortunately i don't get to keep them, as I only have them on loan for a shoot early next week. It's exciting however having all of these lovely garments at my house! I seriously wish I could just wear them all! Self control is key here. Ahhhh!

Floral hair wreathes

I am absolutely in love with cute floral hair wreathes at the moment! I wore one to a ball last year and have been absolutely stuck on them ever since. I came across these photos on She Got Her Own and fell in loveeee. Try wearing a pretty floral hair wreath to a summer picnic or with your favourite party dress to add that little something extra.

I'm a big fan of ones with real flowers, however you can get good looking fake ones for reasonably cheap. I actually made my own out of some fake flowers I found at a dollar store. Search youtube for ideas and tutorials, and get in there before everybody else!

Sorry I've been so absent for the past few days! I've been down South at a wedding, staying in a place with no Internet! Grrr. I found these photo's on tumblr the other day and fell in loveee. So pretty. Makes me want to take up photography for sure.
